Marc was born in Cannes, in the South of France, and grew up in West Africa with a passion for the outdoors and sports. During his youth, he enjoyed windsurfing, surfing, and sailing with his family along the Atlantic coast. Winter holidays were spent in the mountains, skiing and snowboarding in Switzerland and France. Marc joined the yachting industry in 1996 and began his career as a Captain. Over the years, he has commanded multiple yachts and built a long and successful career as a charter Captain. He has extensive cruising experience and takes great pride in working with his crew to ensure that every guest on board enjoys a memorable and exceptional experience.

Chief Engineer Hector Bergery Delgado | Cuban/Spanish

Hector has over 20 years of experience in the industry as a Chief Engineer. He graduated as a Naval Mechanical Engineer from the Naval Academy in Cuba and, after serving five years in the Cuban Navy, Hector transitioned into the yachting sector. Hector possesses in-depth knowledge of maintenance, troubleshooting, and the repair of complete engineering, electrical, and electronic systems. Known for his cheerful and approachable personality, Hector is a proud father and enjoys dancing and socializing. He is also an avid baseball fan.

First Officer Sam Dmytrenko | Ukrainian

Born in Kyiv, Ukraine, Sam grew up on the water, spending his childhood involved in sailing, alpine skiing, ice hockey, and kitesurfing, which shaped his strong sporting and maritime background. He graduated from a Maritime University with a degree in Navigation and continued his career as a professional sailor before transitioning into the yachting industry. Sam has been working in the yachting industry for the past six years and possesses the experience and knowledge required to ensure guest safety while delivering an exceptional onboard experience to the highest standards. Previous experience as director and skipper of the sailing team #GameChanger, S/Y Salvaje (56 m), and M/Y Florentia (54 m)
 
Chef Lordian Johnson | British/ Jamaican

With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality and catering industry, including 10 years on the 75m M.Y. Zeus 2, Lordian brings a well-rounded background that ranges from basic catering operations to fine dining restaurants, hotels, and superyachts. He is known for being enthusiastic, intelligent, and ambitious, with a natural ability to motivate those around him. His extensive experience and culinary expertise consistently contribute to outstanding service and guest satisfaction. Confident in his skills and leadership, he is well-equipped to ensure that any voyage across the Mediterranean becomes an unforgettable culinary experience.

Chief Stewardess Anastasiia Urusova | Ukrainian

Anastasiia grew up in Odessa, the largest port in Ukraine. She is a professional Chief Stewardess. She has outstanding experience in yachting and has worked as a Chief Stewardess on high-profile superyachts for the last 5 years. Anastasiia is ready to amaze guests with her excellent customer service skills and ensure each guest feel looked after and at ease whilst onboard DB9. She is passionate about a healthy and active lifestyle and enjoys walking and cycling. She is fluent in Ukrainian and Russian, and English language.

2nd Stewardess Chardonay Meadows | South African
Languages: English

Chardonay has a successful career in the yachting industry. Prior to that, she spent time in both sales and manufacturing but ultimately discovered her true passion out on the water. She is known as a very positive person who enjoys making people laugh and forming genuine connections wherever she goes. Thriving in social environments and with a deep love for the outdoors, she feels most at home near the ocean. Her happiest moments are spent surrounded by animals or staying active. In her free time, she can often be found surfing skating or exploring new places. A fun fact about Chardonay: when she was younger, she competed in the South African nationals for gymnastics.
 
3rd Stewardess Lea Gudelj | Croatian

Originally from Split, Croatia, Lea was shaped for a life by the sea, which naturally led to her passion for yachting. She began her career aboard a 60-meter charter yacht, before transitioning into housekeeping where she continues to refine her skills and expand her experience. Known for her cheerful, bubbly personality and positive attitude, she is ambitious, athletic, and a true team player who embraces new challenges with enthusiasm. She is thrilled to be part of the DB9 team and sees this opportunity as an exciting step forward in her professional journey within the yachting industry.

Bosun Tarquin Williams | South African

Through his past experiences, Tarquin has discovered that working within a professional, fast-paced team environment is something he truly enjoys. This experience has helped him develop a strong ability to perform under pressure while working independently and without the need for micromanagement. Looking ahead, he plans to enhance his qualifications by completing his Officer of the Watch (OOW) courses and acquiring new skills from fellow crew members to support his ongoing professional growth.

Deckhand Chloe Warren | British

Born and raised in London, Chloe entered the yachting industry six years ago as a Deckhand and has since built a strong, well-rounded foundation through a mix of roles, from skippering small vessels to working as crew on larger yachts. Thriving in high-pressure situations and eager to be thrown in at the deep end, she embraces every opportunity to work hard and learn. Chloe continues to grow professionally, contribute to DB9’s high-performing team, and build longevity with a crew that values quality work, strong work ethic, and a positive onboard culture.
 
Deckhand Marco De Brito | South African

Marco is a dedicated Deckhand from South Africa with a true passion for the sea. He’s someone who thrives in making sure everything runs smoothly on board, taking pride in handling the details that make a trip feel effortless for guests. Marco's calm, focused nature helps create an environment where guests can relax and enjoy their experience, knowing everything is taken care of behind the scenes. His approach is simple: work hard, stay focused, and always do what’s needed to make the experience great for the guests. Outside of work, Marco is passionate about paddle and football. Whether on the water or off, he’s always looking for new challenges and ways to grow, making him an enthusiastic and reliable member of the crew.

2nd Engineer Marko Sabolovic | Croatian

Marko is a highly organized, motivated, and dependable maritime professional with hands-on experience as both an Engineer and Deckhand. He has a solid track record of managing engine room operations, conducting mechanical maintenance, and enforcing safety procedures, all while taking on deck responsibilities including tender operations and water sports coordination. Marko has strong problem-solving capabilities, and a steadfast commitment to operational excellence and crew collaboration. Currently seeking to advance my yachting career as an Engineer, bringing a comprehensive understanding of yacht operations, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of vessel management.
